Didsbury Charity Craft Fair

A huge thank you to everyone that made the event such a success. From traders with all their fabulous products to those who came along to pick up some great items for themselves or as gifts. We would also like to thank everyone ‘behind the scenes’ helping on the day or assisting with marketing/advertising etc. The vintage tea room was very popular so a special mention for Robert Owen Brown and his team for all their hard work in creating that for us.

The bake off was very popular with over 50 entries across all the categories, all the judges agreed that the standard was very high and were particularly impressed with the quality of cakes from the younger entrants. Well done to all who entered and a big well done to the judges who had to eat an awful lot of cake! (I’m hoping to post a list of winners shortly on the Bake Off page)

The merry band of PTA members and school students who were happy to roll up their sleeves and help on the day combined with the excellent work of the Parrs Wood site staff all contributed to a brilliant day.
